How long will it take and how will I feel afterwards?
A 20 minute seated acupressure massage treatment can have the following effects:
• Calms and relaxes the nervous system.
• Decreases blood pressure.
• Relaxes tight and sore muscles.
• Disperses toxins that build up in tissues when seated for long periods.
• Improves circulation of blood and lymphatic system, which strengthens the immune response.
How convenient is it?
• The client sits facing forward in an ergonomically designed massage chair.
• It is received through the clothing.
• No oils are used.
• Finger, elbow and knuckle pressure is used to stimulate acupressure points on the body as well as the additional techniques of kneading, percussion, stretching and mobilisation.
• Can be done anywhere - although a quite room/area allows for better results.
Contraindications and ‘Special Care’ conditions:
Each client will have a history taken before their acupressure to ensure there are no contraindications that prevent them from receiving the treatment.
Recent operations and a history of certain conditions may need permission from your GP.
Those who are pregnant or trying to conceive cannot receive this treatment.
